boring new year....
this year's lunar new year have got to be the worse new year i've ever experienced. well, at least for the first day. i bet today which is the second day of the new year will be any different. just that i'm looking forward to my dad's anniversary dinner over at Vienna.
new year just losing it's touch and charm as the years go by. every year we increase with age but the festive mood seems to be the direct opposite.
recently, i read 'star blog' on stomp (i don't know how i got there, but i just got there..)and one of the paragraph that the blogger wrote was actually how i feel.
'And then you sit around and answer the same questions year after year while you're force-fed the same new year goodies, house after house.'

how true can it get? after a few house visiting (which was bare minimal and makes me feel like staying at home), we stayed throughout over at my grandma's house. the adults were busy mahjong'ing'. with no mahjong, 2 younger cousins occupying the computers with DOTA, 2 half grown adults playing with Wii, it's as boring as it can get. for your information, i'm not one of the half grown adults who played with Wii.
i was simply bored to death. i was actually staring into blank space, napping for a moment and staring at the television from 11pm to 4am in the morning. i can't believe i did that amazing feat, but i did.
for the first week of new year, i'll be packed with activities. so i'm busy busy all the way till this sunday.
New Gear intown room!!
i've got to owe this to Jerry. and i have my hats off to really 'tahan' my fucked up attitude. he knows what i mean.. HAHA!!
been eyeing and looking for this amplifier since i put my Peavey 5150 on sale.

there's actually quite a story behind this amplifier. funny i must say.
well, after i put up my Peavey 5150 combo on sale, i went around ebay, forums hunting for people selling this amplifier. after a couple of months of looking around and searching, i know the chances are slim. it's quite a rarity to come by.
so there i was sitted down on my chair for my FYP. i was looking around SOFT Amp-Buy Sell thread, and i can't believe my eyes. This amplifier is ON SALE! so i'm like recking my brains to get the money first and how i'm going to get it before anyone does.
after a couple of hours of recking my brains, i know i want to get this amplifier SO BAD but i'm not financially capable. so i turned to the second person who's kind of eyeing on this amp too. Jerry.
here's how the conversation goes.
'Eh, Jerry, you know the Yamaha amp in GC? it's on sale leh'
'Hmm...'
'it's selling for $600 leh, damn tempted lo, you never see the thread?'
'Hmm...'
'eh, i feel like buying it leh'
*sinister laughter*
'what?!'
'you want to buy ah? i bought it already lo. HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!'
that's how Jerry got the amp. How the amp got to my house? I don't know!!! haha, all i know is, i used all the strength and might to LUG that amplifier which is an approximate 18KG from his house to my house.
the reward's amazing...
