Listening : SlipKnoT - The Blister Existlet's start from the beginning. didn't turn up for school for obvious reasons. waited till around 2. met jerry, went to peninsula to fix his guitar. after that, we are off to the concert.
it was insane. totally insane. SlipKnoT's concert was a blast.
we went to the venue. tons of people were there. went it's time to go in. total chaos erupted. made way to the gate. a car came in WITH SID IN IT! he was video taping everything. i recognised him through his transformers tattoo on his hand. after that, went in. booked the best place. we were upfront and upclose. after like an hour and a half of wait, Prelude 3.0 started blasting through the amps. but it went off due to technical difficulties. after a short while everything's back up. Prelude 3.0 came up again! when it's nearing the end of the song, that's when the members started coming in!
Mick came in soaking wet! the crowds were high, everything just turned into complete chaos. shan't go into the details. while stopping in between songs, corey spoke to us. he call us to take care of the people around us as we are all of one, and we are here for the music. he told us that nothing's going to stop them from playing tonight because there's 2 things that's pushing them through which is the music and US the maggots.
SlipKnot did change their mask but they never go UNMASKED. it's the DEATH MASK that is when they play for Vermillion. i've been seeing people typing 'they go unmasked' on the forums. *speechless*
if i can remember clearly, during one of the songs, shawn threw the baseball bat over joey to the backstage. joey was looking at the baseball bat flying over him while playing. think he feared that the baseball bat will hit him. and while playing pulse of the maggots, sid actually worn out and started lying on the ground while chris points at sid with his mic as the crowd shout 'we won't die'. sid and clown actually brawled like the old times and sid dragged clown to his percussions and started brawling on the percussion. damn its hell up there.
after a few songs, the band stopped again and that's when corey started to be cocky and such.
'is it hot out there? are you guys fucking hot? *sprays water* it's damn comfortable up on the stage right here'
everything just went on as usual. the band actually gave us more than we should get. i've come to realise they did 2 more songs than the usual 15 that they always do.
