seven is my lucky number..

just a pretty simple recap of what happened this few days that i'm not updating.

on monday, brought huiwen and wanling to brewerkz to have dinner/lunch/supper. cause we ate till we are really full. the food to me, isn't that fantastic cause i ordered the wrong shit.. the lamb foreshank really is... alittle hard to go down the throat. nevertheless, i finished the whole damn thing.

well, call me a no lifer. i worked from tuesday to friday so other than scoldings, there's pretty much not much for me to update, unless you would like to read what took place that made me get hell lot of scolding.

saturday, claris backed out of the outing due to a sudden strike of dizzy spell. but jasmine and i went on for the night. we went to this restaurant at suntec, swiss culture, the food's not bad, the price is reasonable, service's great. i'm feeling kind of guilty cause jasmine, also was not really feeling very well that night, but for the sake of accompanying me, she came out with me.. i'm just so overwhelmed by that lovely gesture.

well, yesterday was the last day jolene's working at brewerkz.. but i made a mistake that got her into some shit and she got scolded. DAMN i was SO FUCKING GUILTY. it's her last day and i got her into hot soup. some kind of colleague i am.. after we knocked off, we sat down together and have dinner. had quite a chat with her and realised that she's not so bad after all. (call me stereotype but all the joline's' or name with same pronounciation always let me have the mentality to associate them with ah lian ah hua's') treated her dinner as a form of farewell?

i realised that i'm a lucky chap and seven is really my lucky number... anything associating with 7, there's bound to have something nice to happen to me. cool..

nostalgic

i went to squeeze with those computer geeks today again at suntec. i realised that 1GB thumbdrive that cost $21 is too good of a deal to miss. so, i went to the IT show again to get my stuff.

i was actually wasting my time off this afternoon blabbering with claris online about stuff that's never going to affect our lives in any way. that's why i used the word 'blabbering' than chatting.

caught the show ‘和平的代价’which is aired on every weekend at 3.30pm. just in case some of you 'sua ku-s' ( affectionally known as 山龟) out there who never heard of this show before. this is a show about world war 2, show casing some of our war heroes like Mr Tan Kah Kee and Mr Lim Bo Seng. what sacrifices they made to fight out the japanese from invading.

it's one of the best show TCS (now known as mediacorp) ever made. i remember watching it during primary school. it certainly left a deep impression in me.

after the show, realised that my mum isn't in a very good shape to do anything around the house. i actually instructed her to stay in bed and don't give a fuck about the laundry. bought for her dinner and i went out. some kind of filial son i am.

but still, it feels nice to boss your mum around when they are sick. not as in mean kind of bossing, as in instructing her to stay in bed to rest kind of bossing. for a good 19 nearing 20 years, i've been bossed around by my mum. it feels so good, but it's for her own good.

i left for the damn IT show and it's a big mistake. the crowd was huge. so huge that it became a human traffic jam. and i got stuck in there. not just the exhibition hall at suntec, even city link is packed with human. i wanted to walk as fast as i could but how to?

i'm actually rushing for time at that point of time.

after i got the thumbdrive, made my way out of suntec and city link. it's really not an easy feat. went to hok san for the tanjong pagar event. boring as usual, had fun 'suaning'. came home and here i am.

i'm working at 11am tomorrow and i'm still here blogging. time check - 2.43am. WHAT THE FUCK? i should be in bed by now. i'm waiting for the sending to complete on msn. it's a huge ass file.

i've cleared out some links that are long expired or they can't be bothered to update. don't think they will care too..

anyway, i came back from IT show as a happy bloke. i bought a DLink wireless router and a PCMCIA notebook adapter for $123 and i get a webcam for free. can say it burnt quite a big hole in my pocket. a setback for my purchasing of guitar, but a step towards better guitar playing. having internet connection in the comfort of my own bed room will let me use the connection for researching and reading.

alright, i would say HALF happy bloke. i'm considering whether or not to get a thumbdrive, saw this great deal, 1GB thumbdrive for only $21. where to find this kind of deal? tomorrow have to call guofeng again to ask for his opinion.

i have to work longer days to get the amount that the guitar requires. i'll be tired as fuck, but i think it's all worthwhile. call me crazy. i am crazy. i don't know where do i get the adrenaline from. i just want to get that guitar.

strange dejavu

Watching : Ill Nino - i hate you

had this weird ass dream last night.

a beggar came to my door to beg for money. my family shoo him off saying that we have no money and all but the beggar is reluctant to go. so we started making harsh comments to him. emotion came over the beggar and the stood at a platform (where the hell did that platform come from?!) outside the parapet of my corridor and leap to his death.

we were stunned by the beggar's action and guilt overcame my family. so we went to consult 'dua ah peh'.

in case some of you guys don't know who is 'dua ah peh', he's one of the guardians of hell that is responsible to bring spirits to hell for justification.

so as i was saying, we went to consult 'dua ah pek', instead of asking us to turn in, he suggested that we escape from singapore to avoid justificaion. a weird suggestion from someone who upholds the law in hell right? totally making no sense.

my dream ends there.

school's out! basically, i screwed up my computing math paper and java paper. so i shall not explain any further into it. there's nothing much to elaborate also. screw up my papers, period. still need to elaborate?

when school's out.. what's the best thing for you to do?

but seriously, work is not always so smooth going. just yesterday, i got scolded... no, scold is not the work to use, i got commented while working. after that, i'm rather cranky at work. but after i came back from my 1 hour break, i'm refreshed and i enjoyed the other half of my work. guess that how it works. maybe i'm just hungry cause usually they let us have our lunch at around 2.30pm. but yesterday they dragged till 4.30pm then let me go have lunch.

conclusion? a hungry me is a cranky me.

you guys may find that i'll not be online as frequent as last time. pardon me, it's all for the guitar, that's what i always tell myself when i get scolded at work.
