HAPPY CHEENA NEW YEAR!
erm, i meant chinese new year.
chinese new year is in but it seems that the chinese new year mood was so damp this year there's not much excitement about it. like seriously.
when i was young, i remember this lion dance troupe would always turn up at the neighbouring block for 'cai qing' on the first day of new year. i would always be the first one to wake up and watch it. then my family wakes up and we will go visiting as early as 10am. we would pester our parents to go to as many houses for visiting as possible, just to get red packets. this would actually spread through the first 2 days of new year. and we will stay up real late with black jacks entertaining us.
but now, not until 12noon, my family will never leave the house. we are so lethargic of going from one place to another we only visit 3 houses on the first day of new year. since i start working in brewerkz, 2nd day of new year have always been working. same goes for this year.
second day of new year, went to work. was shocked to see dining in a very unusual way.
the side of brewerkz you will never seethat ah bung very funny, saw me taking photo then immediately rush in to pose. then very eager to see the outcome..
well, let's turn back the clock to the days before new year. brewerkz was having an event called superbowl, in which it's the world cup for american football. the game starts at 7am in the morning in singapore time. so we had to be in the restaurant at 5am in the morning. quite an experience i would say. the day before, was wondering why they prepare so much coffee mugs. on superbowl itself, i finally know why. cause it's before day break and all the people came down early for the game. so basically, they kept ordering coffee.
GUESS THE NUMBER OF COFFEE MUGS AND WIN!we need to stock up on the milks too. but actually.. the milk have always been stacked up like this for daily operations.
-----------NTU was fun but shit, got 2nd last because of some stupid rules that we didn't follow, so we got our marks deducted and we dropped from 3rd to 2nd last place. JUST because of that stupid rule. but all in all, we did great.
knowing that i'm not that photogenic, ahboy took a photo without me knowing it and say i look very handsome. crazy. this was the photo he taken. can't even see my face still say handsome. -.-
-----------yesterday night, while i was happily watching television programs, i heard sirens here and there, and the sirens stopped immediately once it reaches my neighbourhood. so i was thinking, what happened? out of curiousity, i went to the kitchen to check out what's going on. true enough, there were police, firefighters.
no matter much how i strain my eyes to look at the block, there seems nothing wrong. people were running down the stairs so i thought maybe a fire broke out. nope, not a single streak of soot. so i thought, maybe someone attempted to jump the building. nope, not a single soul was spotted dangling from their windows. so what the hell actually took place? i have no idea. but for the fun of it, i took some pictures. i may sound abit suaku, but it's not my first time encountering this kind of stuff.
SEE, nothing wrong what...-----------nowadays, the cab fares have really gone out of hand and are ridiculously high. a trip from work back home usually cost 5 bucks. but now, it's 8-9 bucks. have to really cut down on taxi rides already. which means, no more supper, no more late night movies.
on top of that, i'm going to bangkok after my exams. which equates to more money outflow.
i want money. in my previous post, i want to get the telecaster, now i have another GAS going, which is the rivera KR7 amplifier. it's a cabinet in case you haven't notice.

-----------not sure when will be my next post but definitely, i will blog about the bangkok trip. i shall end my post with my pretty younger cousin. the house was in a state of black out when i took the photo.
